MONTGOMERY — Anita Archie, the executive assistant to Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange, will deliver the keynote address to Troy University graduates during the fall commencement ceremony for the Montgomery Campus on Monday, Dec. 16.
The ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. inside the Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts. About 182 students are set to receive degrees this fall at the Montgomery Campus.
As executive assistant to the mayor, Archie supervises the planning and risk management departments. She is also responsible for human resources, special project management and mayor-city council relations.
Archie previously served as the senior vice president of intergovernmental affairs and advocacy and legal advisor at the Business Council of Alabama.
She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Alabama School of Law. She and her husband, Eric Archie, have two children.
