Troy University's M.I.S.S. Elite Society to host Project Embrace on Feb. 15

TROY - A Troy University will hosts workshops on Feb. 15 with the aim of empowering the young women to be leaders.

The University's M.I.S.S. Elite Society and the University's Civic Scholars program will host Project Embrace with workshops covering such topics as self-esteem, making a good first impression and healthy choices. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Trojan Center Ballrooms on the Troy Campus.

Project Embrace's mission is to empower, educate and mold young ladies into the leaders of tomorrow.

Speakers for the event will include: Jaime Lewis, Executive Director of Girls Inc. of Dothan; Traci Howell, Chief Executive Officer of S.H.E. Agency; and, Saba Coleman, Chief Executive Officer of Knowledge Through Experience.
