Troy University Symphony Band to present free concert on April 21

TROY - The Troy University Symphony Band will present its final concert of the academic year at 7 p.m., April 21 in the Claudia Crosby Theater on the Troy Campus.

The concert, which is free and open to the public, will include variety of musical styles, including compositions by Dubussy and Grainger and the regional premiere of the commissioned ensemble piece "Fractured Rondo," by American composer James Stephenson.

In addition to the student symphony, the concert will feature John M. Long School of Music faculty members Dr. Tim Phillips on clarinet and Professor Carol Franks on flute.
