Saliba to address Troy University graduates in Dothan

DOTHAN - Local business leader Mark Saliba will deliver the keynote address to Troy University graduates during the fall commencement ceremony for the Dothan Campus on Sunday, Dec. 14.

The ceremony will be at 3 p.m. inside the Dothan Civic Center. More than 200 students will receive degrees this fall at the Dothan Campus.

Saliba is the president of the Alfred Saliba Corporation, one of the leading construction companies in the Southeast. He is a member of the Dothan/Wiregrass Home Builders Association Hall of Fame, and has served on the organization's board and as a past president. At the state level, Saliba has been involved with the Home Builders Association of Alabama since 1990 and was state president in 2006. He was voted Builder of the Year in Alabama in 1993 and received a Presidential Award in 2010. In 2012, he was inducted into the Alabama Building Industry Hall of Fame.

Saliba has been active in community service throughout Dothan and Houston County, including serving as Chairman of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chairman of Grow Dothan, the economic development arm of the Chamber.
