TROY SBDC will offer free social media programs in Dothan and Andalusia

TROY - Troy University's Small Business Development Center will offer two free programs in south Alabama. Small business owners will learn how to incorporate social media and a smart phone app into their marketing mix.

The Dothan event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce on March 25 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The Andalusia event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce on April 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Speakers for both events will include Kathryn Cariglino, marketing and management consultant for Never Give up Enterprises and a Constant Contact representative. Cariglino will speak on the use of email and its effectiveness on promoting your business.

Betsy Baker, a marketing consultant will speak on how to use social media marketing for you business. Rob Beene, smart phone app developer for Wiregrass Apps, will speak on using your smart phone app to market your business.
