Troy University Senior Vice Chancellor Walter Givhan addresses the April 9 arrest and suspension of two TROY students on charges associated with an assault over spring break. Troy University's standards of conduct prohibit violence of any kind and breaches of those standards will not be tolerated.

One of the students involved was a track athlete, who has been removed from the team. Troy University expects our student athletes to model the highest standards of personal conduct and in accord with that philosophy, our athletes have pledged their support for the Sun Belt Conference's "It's On Us" campaign.
