Troy University will be featured in four upcoming episodes of the morning show "The Balancing Act" airing on Lifetime Television.
The four-episode miniseries marks the second time Troy University has been featured on "The Balancing Act," America's premier morning show that brings today's busy on-the-go modern women positive solutions and cutting-edge ideas to help balance and enrich their lives every day. An episode in August 2014 featured TROY alumna and professor Dr. Kelli Cleveland, who shared her experience balancing work and family while pursuing her doctorate degree, and how TROY's online learning options helped make the process easier.
That episode will re-air on July 6, kicking off the four-episode series featuring TROY faculty, staff and alumni.
In the first new episode, airing July 20, Assistant Professor of Political Science Dr. Lakerri Mack will discuss bringing more women into the fields of math and science, and how online education is making it easier for working adults to pursue a college degree.
On Aug. 3, Alicia Harkless, TROY's associate director for educational technology, will discuss finding your passion, how education can help people end their "jobs" and find their careers.
Finally, on Aug. 17, TROY graduate Stephanie Carter, founder and design director for Southern Fashion House, will share her thoughts on what it means to "be the boss," and how to find the tools for the success of your own business.
"The Balancing Act" airs weekday mornings on Lifetime at 7:30 a.m. ET. For more information, visit http://www.thebalancingact.com/.
