TROY's Continuing Education to offer leadership course in Dothan

DOTHAN - Emerging leaders will have a chance to hone their skills and apply them to their organizations thanks to a course coming to Troy University's Dothan Campus.

Troy University's Continuing Education will offer a leadership course from April 5 through April 7 at the Dothan Campus.

The course will be divided into four phases: Connecting with Strategic Leadership, Engaging as a Strategic Leader, Partnering as a Strategic Leader and Leading as a Strategic Leader.

In this course, participants will learn the five levels of leadership, gain understanding of the three fundamental principles of culture, examine the importance of engaging leaders, identify challenges to building strategic leadership, identify important concepts for change within their organizations and more.

"If you are an up and coming leader, this exciting, fast-paced course is for you," said Kathy Farley, coordinator of business and industry training at Troy University. "Participants will walk away with a plan to apply their leadership within their respective organizations. They will learn from a highly sought-after trainer, organizational consultant and executive coach who understands the needs of organizations and the challenges of today's workforce."

The cost is $177 per person and includes all materials.

Class size is limited to 20 participants.
