Janet L. Gaston
Lecturer
Department of Biology
Janet L. Gaston has been a lecturer in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences since 1994. She also serves as a medical records technician at Sleep Disorders Medicine in Montgomery, Ala. and is a former teacher at Charles Henderson High School in Troy.
Gaston received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biology/Education from Troy University. Her academic concentrations include Principles of Biology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Organismal Biology and Methods and Materials for Secondary Science Education.
Gaston is a member of the National Education Association, the Alabama Education Association, the Troy Education Association, the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society, the National Science Teachers Association, the Alabama Science Teachers Association, the national Academy of Science and the Alabama Academy of Science.
