Dr. Don C. Hines
Interim Dean of Sorrell College of Business and Lecturer in Business Administration (part-time) in the Management, Marketing and Economics Department
Dr. Don C. Hines is currently the Interim Dean of Sorrell College of Business, but joined Troy University as a part-time lecturer in business administration in 1999. He has more than 33 years of experience in higher education administration and in teaching management, economics, statistics and environmental economics. This includes: President and CEO of the University of West Alabama and Dean of Sorrell College of Business.
Dr. Hines received his bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Mississippi State University (1968); his master’s degree in agricultural economics and economic theory from Mississippi State University (1970); and his doctorate in general economics with specializations in regional economics, public finance and agricultural economics from Kansas State University (1973).
