Dr. Victoria (Chan) Roark
Associate Professor
Psychology
Dr. Chan Roark joined the Troy University faculty in 1996 as a faculty member in the Department of Counseling, Psychology and Foundations of Education. Courses taught range from education psychology to theories of counseling to group dynamics and counseling.
She received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Alabama in the area of educational psychology and research; her master’s degree in education from North Texas State University and her bachelor of science in English education from Louisiana State University.
Dr. Roark is a member of Kappa Delta Pi and is co-sponsor of the campus chapter of Psi Chi, a national organization for psychology majors. She has presented programs on the topics of lifetime learning, developing listening skills and dealing with difficult people.
