Lynsey Madison is completing her doctoral degree from Auburn University in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Hospitality Management with an emphasis in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Ms. Madison received a M.S. in Human Environmental Sciences with an emphasis in Restaurant and Hospitality Management from The University of Alabama and a bachelor's degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from the University of Missouri.

Prior to joining the TROY faculty in 2014, she served in teaching assistant positions at both Auburn University and the University of Alabama. She also previously served as assistant events coordinator at the University of Alabama's Culverhouse College of Commerce and in nutrition services at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Ms. Madison teaches courses focused on hospitality management including: human resource management in hospitality, hotel management, and revenue management. Her research interests include the various aspect of event planning and event management.
