Dr. Pakianathan Chelladurai | Distinguished Professor of Sport Management

Dr. Packianathan Chelladurai received a B.Com., D.P.E.D. from the University of Madras; an M.A. in Physical Education from the University of Western Ontario; and an M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. in Management Science from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
Dr. Chelladurai is among the few international scholars offering Olympic Solidarity's Executive Masters in Sport Organizations Management (MEMOS). He specializes in organizational theory and organizational behavior in the context of sport and teaches courses in organizational behavior and human resource management.
Dr. Chelladurai is a fellow of the National Academy of Kinesiology and a research fellow of the North American Society for Sport Management. He has numerous honors to his credit, including the inaugural recipient of the Earle F. Zeigler Award from the North American Society for Sport Management, the Merit award for Distinguished Service to Sport Management Education from the European Association of Sport Management and the Sport Management Scholar Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southern Sport Management Association.
Throughout his career, Dr. Chelladurai has served in editorial or leadership positions with several publications, including the Journal of Sport Management, European Sport Management Quarterly, the Journal of Intercollegiate Sports and the Olympic Council of Asia Congress.
Dr. Chelladurai's research has resulted in several books, book chapters, articles published in scholarly journals and presentations throughout the world.
