| Dothan resident Tiffaney Leonard and her classmates at Troy University are reaching out to victims of Hurricane Katrina with an art project. The Dothan Campus visual art students hope the canvas they are creating will bring a sense of peace and hope to survivors. |
As part of “Project Katrina,” Troy University visual art students plan to send this large art canvas to victims of the hurricane. Visual art instructor Gayle Nelson’s trip to devastated Pascagoula, Mississippi, inspired the project. The Dothan Campus students have also gathered relief supplies, which will accompany the heartfelt gift. |
