Members of the Troy University’s class of 1959 gathered, Saturday, in the Bibb Graves Quadrangle on the Troy Campus to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the memorial service for the dog know as “Ole Bullet.” Bullet, a stray that showed up on campus, was shot by a night watchman causing somewhat of an uproar among the student body. The original service was held on the University’s Shackelford Quadrangle in an effort to appease students upset by the dog’s death. From left to right are: Billy Long, Bobby Terrell, Bobby Philips, Jim Byrd and Betty and Fred Head.
