Since September 1994, faculty and staff of Troy University have met the challenge of supporting new educational endeavors by generating over $75 million in external funding. The Troy University Office of Sponsored Programs (or OSP for short) is committed to the support and development of these activities by the University's faculty and staff. The Office of Sponsored Programs serves as the single point of contact for the development, submission and management of proposals submitted to external sponsors for consideration of funding.

The Office of Sponsored Programs assists University personnel in three phases of Sponsored Project development. These phases are listed below:

• Sponsor Research
  Assistance in locating funding sources
• Proposal Development
  Assistance in writing and submitting proposals to external sponsors
• Project Management
  Assistance in managing funded proposals
