For each Undergraduate Credit Hour: $264
For each Graduate Credit Hour: $338

Out-of-state students pay twice the regular tuition charge.
The fee to audit a course is one-half regular tuition.

Fees 2013-2014

I. Mandatory Fees

A. Registration Fee: $50 Each student who enrolls for classes at an Alabama campus of Troy University will pay the Registration fee whenever he/she registers for a semester or summer session. The fee for Phenix City, Montgomery, and Dothan Campus is $25 per term.

B. General University Fee: $35.00 per credit hour

IV. Parking Fees

A. Vehicle Registration fees are non-refundable

B. All students who operate a vehicle on any of the in-state Troy University campuses will be required to pay a $50 vehicle registration fee each academic year and place a Troy University decal on their vehicle.

Summer Session only, all permits: $25
Motorcycles: $25
Temporary permits: $5 weekly
Replacement permits (must bring current decal): $10
Second or subsequent permits: $15

C. With proof of purchase (State of Alabama Tag Receipt), the parking permit fee for the Trojan Tag will be waived.

V. Application Fees For all campuses and sites of Troy University, the standard application fees shall be:

  • Undergraduate Applications: $30
  • Graduate Applications: $50

VI. Housing Application Fee (Troy Campus only)

All students requesting to reserve a residence hall room shall be required to submit a $100 non-refundable application fee/deposit. Applications will not be processed without the fee.

VII. Testing Fees

MAT: $70
ACT (residual): $50
CLEP (per test): $80
DANTES: $100

VIII. Drop Processing Fee:$30 per course (charged after the last day to drop and withdraw)

IX. Withdrawal Processing Fee: $50 regardless of number of courses (charged after the last day to drop and withdraw)

X. Late Payment Fee: $50 (charged if a balance is still on the student account after 3rd payment due date)

XI. Course Audit Fee: 50% of tuition

XII. Payment Plan Fee: $25 per semester or summer session, unless 100% of tuition and fees paid by 1st week

XIII. Transcript Request Fee: $10.00 per transcript

XIV. Intent to Graduate Filing Fee: $60

XV. Parking Violation Fines (Troy Campus)

1. $10 fine for all parking violations and non-moving violations with exception of #2
2. $75 fine for handicap parking, fire lanes, tow away zone, and littering
3. $75 fine for all moving violations (i.e. speeding, running stop sign, etc.)
4. $50 fine for wheel lock removal
5. $100 fine for parking on grass areas

XVI. BankMobile Vibe Card Replacement Fee: $15
