Greek Organizations

Many students want to find a home away from home when they come to Troy. Greek organizations are a terrific way to find your home at Troy. These organizations are based on the concept of brotherhood and sisterhood and you will find a Greek organization will be your greatest supporter. Greek organizations on Troy’s campus are historically old organizations with national affiliations. The Greek system allows a student to be challenged in areas: academics, social, philanthropy, and leadership. These also encourage you to become involved in every aspect of college life. Membership selection is called Rush, recruitment or membership intake. Certain qualifications are required to be considered for the process. Troy currently offers five Panhellenic sorority: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Chi Omega, Kappa Delta and Phi Mu; eight Inter-Fraternity (IFC) Fraternities: Alpha Tau Omega, Delta Chi, Delta Kappa Epsilon, FarmHouse, Lambda Chi Alpha, Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Chi and Tau Kappa Epsilon; four Pan-Hellenic sororities: Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Sigma Gamma Rho and Zeta Phi Beta and four PanHellenic fraternities: Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi and Phi Beta Sigma. Fraternities and sororities are groups of students of diverse backgrounds committed to one common goal.
