Roblee-McNellis

Dr. Kenneth Roblee, professor of mathematics, and Mr. Robert McNellis, adjunct instructor of mathematics, have been investigating a special class of regular graphs known as “edge-regular” graphs.  The study of edge-regular graphs is of fairly recent origin. They have developed proofs concerning some of the basic properties of these graphs.

They have presented recent findings at the 42nd Southeastern Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory, and Computing and, along with their Auburn University colleague Dr. Peter Johnson, had their paper, “Some Conditions for Edge-Regularity” published in the Congressus Numerantium.

Dr. Voloshin

Dr. Vitaly Voloshin, professor of mathematics and two of his students – Christian Randolph and Colt Stumpf - have recently participated in Atlanta Lecture Series in Combinatorics and Graph Theory V which took place at Emory University.  The conference was organized by Emory University, Georgia Tech and Georgia State University with support from the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation with the featured speaker from MIT.
