Ask TROY

Troy University has been serving adult military students in Florida since 1973. As part of TROY’s Global Campus, operations in Florida initially included campuses at Eglin, Tyndall and MacDill Air
Force Bases. In 1977, the University began serving the United States Navy with the opening of a site at NAS Pensacola.

In response to changes in the higher education market, today TROY”s focus in Florida has broadened to include adult educational programs in civilian communities. University locations now include the
original sites at Eglin AFB and Tyndall AFB as well as locations in Fort Walton Beach, Hurlburt Field, Orlando, Panama City, Pensacola, and Tampa.

These Florida locations offer a range of programs at undergraduate and graduate levels and also serve as Student Services support centers for eTROY students from across the state and around the world who are enrolled in a broad range of 100% online programs.

Along with the Alamo (situated, along with our campus, in legendary San Antonio) you’ll remember this learning experience all your life!  Troy also boasts digs in iconic El Paso, which lies on the Rio Grande across the border from Mexico. What can we say? Going to school in either location is pretty much like going to school on the set of a Western.

In keeping with its long tradition of serving the military, Troy is proud to maintain facilities in historic Arlington and in nine locations throughout military-rich Hampton Roads, including Langley Air Force Base, Oceana Naval Base, JEB Little Creek-Fort Story, Fort Belvoir, Fort Lee, Fort Eustis, and Naval Station Norfolk, the largest naval station in the world.

TROY's campus in historic Clarksville, TN, “Gateway to the New South”, is the gateway to more than just your academic and professional future. Our Clarksville teaching site is located close to Fort Campbell and services both military and civilian students. Here, while getting a first-class education, you can go rock climbing along the Cumberland River, enjoy a glass of wine at the Beachaven Vineyards and Winery, join the downtown artist’s co-op, take in the breathtaking Victorian architecture of the city’s many historical buildings, or just enjoy the pulse of art and life in what Entrepreneur Magazine recently voted “the South’s Number 1 Small City.”
