All food goes to the Pike County Food Bank. Please bring cans of food to especially marked boxes around campus. Specifically in your Dorms and Hawkins Hall. Give what you can so that those can have a good Thanksgiving too. Toys for Tots Troy University & US Marines Corps Reserve PartnershipTroy University will partner with the US Marines Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign as part of a university wide community service project. We are asking all of our student organizations and university departments to help brighten the holiday season for children within the Pike and Houston County areas by participating in this project. We need everyone within our university family to donate one new, unwrapped gift to the Student Government Association (215 of the Trojan Center) office. If your organization/department would like to make a monetary donation please make the check payable to the “Student Government Association (SGA).” We will begin to collect toys in the SGA office on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. The University will continue to collect new, unwrapped toy donations until Monday, December 2, 2013. If you would like more information about Toys for Tots, please click on the links below. About Toys for Tots: The Marines Toys for Tots Foundation is a not for profit organization authorized by the US Marines Corps and the Department of Defense to provide fundraising and other necessary support for the annual US Marines Toys for Tots Program. This program provides joy and a message of hope to less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy or book during Christmas holiday season. Flu Shots Students come by the Student Health Center to receive your flu shot for FREE starting October. 21st. The Health Center is located on the first floor of Hamil Hall near the Trojan Center.
