TROY—Winner of numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize, “Oklahoma!” is the classic American musical that launched the songwriting collaboration of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein.
Set in turn-of-the-century Oklahoma, amidst the high-spirited rivalry between local farmers and cowboys, “Oklahoma!” is the cherished love story of Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl. The musical features such favorite songs as “People Will Say We’re in Love,” “Oh What A Beautiful Mornin’,” and “Surrey With Fringe On Top.”
The show has a 7 p.m. curtain time.
