Saturday, Nov. 19, 2:30 p.m.: The Troy Trojans will take on Florida Atlantic University, in the annual "Salute to Armed Forces" game at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Since 2000, the University has designated one home football game in November to honor current and past members of the Armed Services of the United States. Active duty service members with valid military ID will receive a complimentary ticket. Any military family member or veteran with valid military ID may purchase a discounted ticket for $8 at Gate 1. In addition, a special halftime tribute by the Sound of the South Band will recognize veterans, active duty and reserve military personnel as they parade across the field during the performance of their service song.Media Availability
Troy University's Visiting Scholar, the Venerable Penh Vibol, a Buddhist monk from Cambodia, is available for interview. Venerable Penh is an educator and advocate for peace.
