DOTHAN – Several community health care providers will be at Troy University’s Dothan Campus to provide free checks, screenings and information during the annual health and wellness fair on Tuesday, April 28.
Local health care providers will be on hand to give information about health topics including exercise and nutrition. Others will provide free access to a range of services including blood pressure, vision and hearing tests, said Keith Seagle, director of counseling and career services.
“The health fair allows us to promote health and wellness to our students, but it also allows faculty, staff and students to arrange for screenings on site so they do not have to take time off from school or work,” Seagle said.
The free event is also open to the public.
The fair will be held from 9 a.m. until noon in Malone Hall. For more information, call 334-983-6556.
