DOTHAN—The Continuing Education Center at Troy University’s Dothan Campus will offer an introductory Spanish course Oct. 12 through Nov. 23.
The class will meet on Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Designed for beginners, the course will teach participants to communicate in Spanish and to learn more about the culture of Spanish speakers.
Participants will learn how to listen, speak, read and write the Spanish language in the present tense. Vocabulary and grammar will be internalized through the use of conversation, video, oral exercises, music and interactive activities. Reading and writing skills will be developed through stories, creative writing and written exercises.
The registration fee is $125 per person. The cost includes a book with a CD and materials.
