DOTHAN—The Continuing Education Center at Troy University’s Dothan Campus will offer an introductory Spanish course for members of the community starting Thursday, March 4 through April 12.
The class will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Participants will learn how to communicate in Spanish and about the culture of Spanish speakers. Emphasis is placed on listening, speaking, reading and writing the Spanish language in the present tense. Vocabulary and grammar will be internalized through conversation, oral exercises, music and interactive activities.
The skills of reading and writing are emphasized through stories, creative writing and written exercises.
Registration is $125 per person. The fee includes a book with CD and materials.
