TROY – Prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about the academic opportunities and extracurricular activities available at Troy University during its Fall Trojan Day on Oct. 15.

Beginning at 11 a.m. on the Bibb Graves Quadrangle, the event will give potential students and their parents the chance to interact with representatives from TROY's five colleges and various campus organizations, tour the campus and residence halls, learn about the admissions process and hear comments from Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., Chancellor.

Registered participants will also receive a barbecue meal and free admission to TROY's football game against Louisiana Monroe. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.

"As our department's largest event, the Office of Admissions looks forward to Trojan Day each semester," said Tiffani Stephens, director of high school and community college relations. "Our main goal is to bring students to the campus and allow them to experience the many opportunities available to them. Trojan Day serves as a prime opportunity to give interested students a feel for what being a Trojan is all about."
