Honors Convocation Award Application

If a department or honor society wishes to have a new award approved for Honors Convocation the application must be submitted by the second Monday in January for approval by Honors Convocation committee. The following information must be submitted in a word document. Please carefully review the Rules and Procedures for Individual Awards before preparing this document. The following information should be sent to Barbara Patterson, bpatters@troy.edu.

  1. Name of honor society or University department sponsoring the award
  2. Name, email and extension of individual submitting the application
  3. Proposed name of award
  4. Criteria for selection of award
  5. Significance of award
