Application Process:

Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply to the Troy University campus or site of their choosing. Students applying to online programs and sites outside of Alabama must meet application deadlines listed on the academic calendar.

When ready to apply students must first complete the online application, selecting the TROY location they wish to study at, their education classification and their start term. After completing the online application for admission a non-refundable $30 application fee must accompany submission of the application for processing purposes. To be considered for admission you must have your high school and/or college transcripts sent to us for evaluation.

Schedule a Campus Visit:

Campus visits are the most important aspect of the college decision making process. Visits give you the opportunity to discover what makes our unique University the right fit for you. TROY welcomes you to come and see what makes our campus different, one that you will want to consider your home away from home. While visiting Troy University in Troy, Alabama, you will have the opportunity to take part in a student-guided tour of campus. While learning the TROY history and traditions you will also tour various academic buildings and residence halls. Following your tour you will have the chance to meet with an Admissions Counselor to discuss admissions and scholarship opportunities, major and career options, housing possibilities and student life.

Scholarships & Financial Aid:

After your admissions application and necessary materials have been submitted you should review all scholarship opportunities at your TROY location. Scholarship deadlines and applications vary depending upon location.

Housing Application:
(Troy Campus Only)

The deadline to apply for on-campus housing is March 1st for all students. All students under the age of 19 prior to the first day of registration are required to reside on campus unless living at your stated home address with your parents.

IMPACT, New Student Orientation:
(Troy Campus Only)

IMPACT is the orientation program at the Troy campus for all new students. Multiple two-day sessions are offered throughout the summer months of June & July. During IMPACT students will register for fall classes. Registration information is sent out to all accepted Troy campus students in early April.
