Master Sergeant Ian A. Robb entered the Army on 1 October 1995 and completed OSUT training at Ft. Benning Georgia (B co. 2-58 INF.) as an 11B Infantryman. His military education includes the United States Army Air Assault School; Infantry Mortar Leaders Course; Battle Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Course; Combat Life Saver Course; Combatives Level I; Primary Leadership Development Course; Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course; and the Maneuver Senior Leader Course.

MSG Robb’s duty assignments and position include Schofield Barrack Hawaii, Ft. Hood Texas, Ft. Stewart Georgia, Ft Richardson Alaska and Ft. Lewis Washington. He has held every position from Rifleman to First Sergeant. His deployments and combat experience include Operation Desert Spring in Kuwait; combat operations in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom I, and V, as well as Operation Enduring Freedom IIV and X. MSG Robb is currently the Senior Military Instructor at Troy University in Troy, Alabama.

MSG Robb’s awards, decorations, and badges include; the Bronze Star Medal (4) Oak Leaf Cluster; the Meritorious Service Medal; the Army Commendation Medal With (4) Oak Leaf Cluster; the Army Achievement Medal With (4) Oak Leaf Cluster; Presidential Unit Citation Award; Valorous Unit Award; the Army Good Conduct Medal (5) Knots; the National Defense Service Medal with Star device; Afghan Campaign Medal (3) Bronze Campaign Star; the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; the Iraqi Campaign Medal (4) Bronze Campaign Star; the Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; the Global War On Terrorism Service Medal; the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3); the Army Service Ribbon; the Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 5); the Nato Medal; the Combat Infantryman’s Badge; and the Air Assault Badge; MSG Robb has also been awarded The Order of St. Maurice.
