Ms. Jing Yang comes from Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, currently a visiting scholar at Confucius Institute. She got her Master’s degree of Chinese language and literature in 2005 from Central China Normal University. And she got the Qualification Certification of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language at the advanced level in 2006. She has been teaching Chinese language as a second language for 12 years. Her main research focuses on Chinese language writing and Chinese teaching method.

After graduating from Dalian University of Foreign Languages, she has been working in China Medical University. She has been working for 11 years as an English teacher teaching general English for undergraduate students. During 11 years of teaching experience, she has accumulated a lot of teaching methods and has published several research papers on pedagogical study. She has written 4 papers published on national periodicals as the first author, and has a number of papers published as a second author.  She is also a leader of a research team. The research project was sponsored by Liao Ning Association of Higher Education. She is interested in teaching method research. Now she works as a coordinator of Confucius Institute on Troy campus, and is responsible for exhibition hall, afterschool program, translation and CIT website news final review.
