TROY Service Centers meet the needs of working adults, including military, government agency civilians, teachers and future business leaders who want the opportunities that come with earning a degree. Because adult learners often have different educational needs than traditional students, courses are provided at times and in formats designed around people who work and have other commitments for their time.

Troy University's Continuing Education and Outreach, has partnered with the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, with support by the City of Montgomery and the Montgomery County Commission, and with in-kind support from Leadership Montgomery to present this necessary program. TROY has developed a multi-level Hospitality Academy for the greater Montgomery area.
The mission of the academy is to improve the hospitality service and customer experience of tourists and locals and provide service consistency within the hospitality industry. The goal is to increase the area's reputation as a friendly, knowledgeable, and service oriented destination; thus, creating a positive economic impact on the Montgomery area.
This initiative will provide professional development training for managers and staff.
The Academy is targeted at managers and staff from hotels and other lodging, restaurants, bars, attractions and venues in Montgomery City and County. Anyone who serves the public in a hospitality role should consider attending. Good hospitality is what you make of it. The Montgomery Hospitality Academy will provide training on topics specific to the needs of the service provider.
