Donor Recognition

Dr. Jean Laliberte, associate vice chancellor for development, welcomed those who had recently made gifts toward projects that are a part of the University’s “Building Beyond Boundaries” initiative, as well as those who have made recent planned gifts.

“We are here today to say thank you for your continued support of Troy University,” Dr. Laliberte said. “Your generosity plays a vital role in ensuring that Troy University is truly the model university for the 21st century.”

Dr. John Schmidt, senior vice chancellor for advancement and external relations, spoke on the importance of the “Building Beyond Boundaries” initiative, telling those in attendance that their continued support is vital to the University.

Earl Johnson, co-chair of Troy University’s Planned Giving Council, presented an overview of the University’s planned giving program and the Trojan Shield Society, which honors those who make planned gifts in the amount of $10,000 or greater.

Gifts of appreciation were presented to all donors.

Donors recognized for their gifts to the University’s “Building Beyond Boundaries” initiative were:
