Phillip Parker (1976) is the new principal at Midland City Elementary School. He and his wife Pam live in Skipperville.

Robert F. (Bob) Williams (1976) resides in Dawson, GA, and is pastor of Dawson United Methodist Church.  He received his Master of Divinity and the Doctor of Ministry degrees from the New Orleans Theological Seminary and Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of South Alabama.

Charles Oliver (1977, 1981), owner of Bags by Coach “O”, celebrated 20 years of business on Sept. 12. Bags by Coach “O” started as a supplier for team bags and has grown to offer all facets of items needed to host events and field teams. The growth has launched other divisions under the umbrella of Coach O.  These divisions are Coach O Registration, Coach O Event Management and Track Officials Registration.   

Jeffrey M. Brannon (1981), chief executive officer of Medical Center Enterprise, was recently named chairman-elect of the Alabama Hospital Association. Brannon joined Medical Center Enterprise in 2002 as an administrator.

Joseph G. Jarret (1981), chief deputy, Knox, TN, County Attorney, was the 2009 recipient of the Florida Association of County Attorneys’ Gordon Johnston Award for outstanding and ethical contributions to the practice of local government law. Further, he has been elected president of the Tennessee Valley Mediation Association.

Col. A. G. Hatcher, Jr. (1983), USAF, Deputy Director of Communications for Air Combat Command, has been selected for the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Associations (AFCEA) Leadership Award for 2009.  Col. Hatcher was selected from over 10,000 AFCEA members; and as the president of the AFCEA Tidewater Chapter in Hampton, VA, he led them to be selected as a model chapter of the year. Col. Hatcher is married to Dorothy Thornton-Hatcher.

Tim Beasley (1985) currently resides in Auburn and is the senior human resources manager for Briggs & Stratton Corp. Beasley was recently appointed by Gov. Bob Riley to serve as chair of the Alabama Workforce Investment Board (AWIB), which is responsible for facilitating workforce development efforts and approving federal job training budgets in Alabama.

C. Gibson Vance (1987) has been selected to serve as president-elect of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). As an executive officer of AAJ, Vance will serve as the national leadership in the organization’s effort to educate the public and legislators on issues of critical to consumers and our nation’s judicial system. Vance is a shareholder in the Montgomery-based law firm of Beasley Allen.

Jennifer Panton Henderson (1990) resides in Atlanta, GA, and is a territory sales representative for Werner Frank Enterprises.

Robin Butler McNany (1994) resides in Dakota Dunes, SD, and is a finance administrator at Westcon Group North America.

Paul Lindsley (1995) currently resides in Nashville, TN, and is director of communications at Saint Thomas Hospital. Lindsley furthered his education by earning a Master of Arts in Corporate Communications from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.

Stephanie W. Brookins (1996, 1997) has been named managing partner at ParsonsGroup, a Dothan area accounting firm. She is married to Larry Brookins, and the couple has two daughters – Emma and Lydia.

Paige Green (1996, 1997) is currently president of the Gilmer County Chamber of Commerce in Ellijay, GA.

Jose Reyes, Jr. (1996) has been named principal of Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City. Reyes had served as principal at Nathaniel H. Stephens also in Alexander City from 2006 to 2009.  He served as assistant principal at the Alexander City Middle School from 2003 to 2006.
Reyes is pursuing a Doctor in Educational Policy, Law and Leadership.

Steven Hauck (1997) is an anchor and reporter for WIAT-TV, CBS-42 in Birmingham. In 2008, Hauck received three awards from the Associated Broadcaster’s Association. He was also recognized as “Best Television Reporter” in Alabama.

Holly E. Raulerson (1997) currently resides in Jacksonville, FL, and is an advertising sales training manager for The Florida Times-Union.

Heather Bergob Gruber (1999) is the Health and Fitness Director for the Social Security Administration Fitness Center in Birmingham.  She recently completed her 200-hour Yoga teacher training program through YogaFit and Yoga Alliance.  She is also a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.

David Hill (2001) is head football coach at Barbour County Middle School. Hill is a former member of the Trojan football team and, following graduation, spent five years playing in the Arena Football League.

Jamie Whitworth (2001) has been named funeral director at Greenhill Funeral Home in Troy.

Candice McDaniel (2002) is event planning and fundraising for the Southeast Alabama Medical Center Foundation in Dothan.  She and her husband Todd live in Ashford.

Phillip Cornett (2003) has obtained his professional surveying license. Cornett is employed by Almon Associates, Inc, a civil engineering and surveying company with offices in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa.

Jason Wilkes (2003) has been promoted to manage the Hoover office of Scottrade, a branch-supported online investment firm. Prior to his promotion, Wilkes, a Birmingham resident, served as a senior stock broker for Scottrade’s Atlanta branch.

Jennifer Moseley (2004) was recently named operations manager for the Hampton Inn and Suites in Lanett. She is certified in property management and as a Guest Services Representative with the Hilton Corp.

Paula Tillman (2004) resides in Loxley and is currently the Public Information Coordinator for the Baldwin County Commission in Bay Minette.

Lance Gainous (2005) is the new band director at T.R. Miller High School in Brewton.

Lindsay Pollock (2005) is currently a communication specialist with the Walt Disney World Company.

Melinda Henderson Recalde (2005) resides in Troy, and she is the international admission specialist for Troy University.

Lori Ann Roberts (2005) recently received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

Michael D. Todd (2005) recently accepted a full-time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor in the School of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Biomedical and Radiological Technologies at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

Jesse Powell (2006) of Millbrook has been named a financial representative for Cotton States Insurance and serves clients form his office in Birmingham. He serves as treasurer for the Elmore County Chapter of the Troy University Alumni Association.

Anna Hasenbein (2007) is an assistant broker for Peachtree Special Risk Brokers in Stockbridge, GA.

Taylor A. Thames (2007) resides in Headland and is an area manager for Dale and Henry counties for Wiregrass United Way.  Taylor is now engaged to Brandon Wheeler of Rutledge.

Brenda Withers (2007) has been the administrator of Father Purcell Memorial Exceptional Children Center since October 2008. Father Purcell Memorial Exceptional Children’s Center is a non-profit organization, mission of the “City of St. Jude” Archdiocese of Mobile.

Kevin J. Bell (2008) recently graduated from Alabama State Trooper class and has been assigned to the Selma/Marengo County post.

Alan Gordon Robinson (2008) has been named Civilian Employee of the year at the Naval School for Explosive Ordnance Disposal located at Eglin AFB, FL. He is the Administration Division Officer and has worked as a civil servant at the school for four years.  Robinson is also a USAF veteran who served his country for 20 years.

Mark Brunner (2008, 2009) was recently promoted to Safe, Quality, Food (SQF) Coordinator with the Sara Corporation, which is responsible for leading implementation and on-going management/oversight of FDA, USDA and HACCP programs as it relates to global standards of Safe Quality Foods certification and its initiatives.

Katy Nicole Paul (2009) is attending Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL, where she is studying international law.
