Golf Tournament to benefit Troy University’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes

TROY, Ala.--Troy University’s 2007 Chancellor’s Invitational Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 12 at Capitol Hill, the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail site in Prattville.

The tournament, which will be played on the Legislator Course, will begin with registration and lunch at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. An awards ceremony will follow the tournament with awards being present for first-, second- and third-place teams, as well as for longest drive and closest to the pin. Each tournament participant will receive a gift bag.

Proceeds from this year’s event will support Troy University’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Registration for the event is $500 for a foursome or $125 for an individual. Event sponsorship opportunities are also available. A Cardinal sponsorship includes registration for a four-person team and a hole sponsorship for $800. A Silver sponsorship, which consists of a hole sponsorship, is available for $500.
