DOTHAN – Troy University welcomes Gayla White as regional director of institutional development.
In this role, White will be responsible for cultivating and strengthening University ties within Dothan and the surrounding communities.
A TROY alumnus, White is enthusiastic about returning to her alma mater and joining the University’s Advancement Office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social science, with minors in psychology and history.
“Troy University makes a tremendous difference in the lives of so many in the community,” White said. “My TROY degree has opened many doors for me, and I want to give back to the University.”
With her strong community and University ties, White will be an asset to the Advancement team, according to Dr. Jean Laliberte, associate vice chancellor for development.
“We are excited about hiring Gayla,” Dr. Laliberte said. “She has been very active in our alumni association and has a tremendous amount of experience in fund raising with local organizations. We look forward to our association.”
