TROY – Troy University’s John M. Long School of Music will offer a night of music to the public on Nov. 19.

The Campus Concert Band will perform a concert at 7 p.m. in Claudia Crosby Theater, and the University’s Trumpet Ensemble will perform at 6:30 p.m.

Comprised of students, faculty and staff from across the University, the Campus Concert Band gives instrumentalists an opportunity to perform standard band literature in an informal setting.

The band’s director, Dr. Mark Walker, said the band will perform works by Sousa, Reed, Vaughan Williams and many other composers.

The band meets on Monday evenings throughout the fall semester.

Admission is free and open to the public.
