Troy University homecoming
Troy University will celebrate its Homecoming on Nov. 8 under the theme “Then, Now, Forever – Trojans.” The Homecoming Queen and King will be crowned and the court presented during halftime ceremonies. Four TROY alumni will also be honored during halftime with Alumni of the Year Awards. The homecoming opponent is Western Kentucky, and pre-game activities commence at 2 p.m. with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. in Movie Gallery Veteran’s Stadium.

Republic of Georgia officials to discuss Russian invasion
Nov. 4: At 1:30 p.m., four officials from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs in Tbilisi, Georgia (Republic of Georgia) will give their personal reflections of the recent Russian invasion of Georgia during a public policy conference hosted by Troy University’s College of Arts and Sciences.
This conference will be conducted at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Destin, Fla., Nov. 2-4.
On Nov. 2 at 3 p.m., Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., chancellor of Troy University will provide the opening keynote address.
On Nov. 3 from 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., Florida State Senator Don Gaetz, former superintendent of Okaloosa County School District, will deliver the keynote address during a luncheon.
The conference also offers a wide range of public policy and administration panels throughout each day.
