DOTHAN—The Troy University Dothan Campus March of Dimes team is sponsoring a Food Fair fund raising event on Wednesday, March 25, that will benefit the organization’s 2009 “March for Babies.”

The Food Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the Harrison Room in Malone Hall. Tickets are $5 each.

The fair will feature a wide variety of dishes donated by local businesses and prepared by team members. Team captain Christ Bryant, assistant director of TROY’s Fort Rucker site, said members of the public are invited to participate in the Food Fair.

“Come out and have lunch with us from the showcase of food that will be available,” Bryant said.

The Dothan Campus will host the “March for Babies” event (formerly known as WalkAmerica) on Saturday, April 25, from 8 a.m. to noon on the Harrison Walking Trail.

“The Dothan Campus is proud to be hosting the event for the third year in a row and everyone is invited to enjoy the celebration,” Bryant said. “This year, team members will join with more than 900 communities across the country walking to support the mission of the March of Dimes to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.”
