TROY, Ala.—Troy University alumna Heather Price has been named as the University’s director of planned giving.
Price, who received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2006 and a Master of Business Administration in 2008 from TROY, will head the University’s Planned Giving program, which covers gifts made to the Troy University Foundation through bequests, trusts or other deferred gifts.
While attending TROY, Price was a member of the Accounting Society, serving as the organization’s secretary and vice president during.
“We are very excited that Heather has joined our development team,” said Dr. Jean Laliberte, associate vice chancellor for development. “She brings wonderful experience and perspective to this critical position for the University.”
Prior to joining the University’s development staff, Price worked for a local accounting firm in Troy.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of such a great University,” Price said. “Troy University’s generous donors have had a direct impact on me and my family. During my college years at TROY, I received numerous scholarships that would not have been possible without the foresight and planning of donors. However, scholarships are only one of the many ways a planned gift can benefit the University and students.”
Price and her husband, Jamie, have one daughter, Jay-Lee.
