DOTHAN—Local community healthcare providers will be at Troy University’s Dothan Campus to provide free checks, screenings and information during the annual health and wellness fair on Thursday, April 22.
More than 25 local healthcare providers and organizations will be on hand to provide information about health and wellness topics including exercise and nutrition. Others will provide free access to a range of services including blood pressure and vision tests, said Keith Seagle, director of counseling and career services.
“The health fair allows us to promote health and wellness to our students and the community, but it also allows faculty, staff and students to arrange for screenings on site so they do not have to take time off from school or work,” Seagle said.
The event is free and open to the public.
The fair will be held from 9 a.m. until noon inside the Harrison Room in Malone Hall. For more information, call 334-983-6556.
