TROY—Three Troy University eCampus graduate programs have been named “best buys” in online education by a national ranking organization.
GetEducated.com ranks competing online programs nationwide in similar classes of institutions. TROY was compared to other universities that are regionally accredited. A “Best Buy” award designation means that the program was independently reviewed and found to offer high quality distance learning to a national audience at cost rates well below the national average, according to GetEducated.com founder Vicky Phillips.
“Troy University offers online students nationwide a chance at a high-quality masters degree through distance learning,” she said. “That’s an amazing value proposition.”
TROY’s Master of Science in Human Resources Management program was the third-ranked program nationally, while its Master of Public Administration program ranked fifth nationally.
The University’s online Master of Business Administration program ranked in the top 15 percent of some 250 similar programs reviewed by the organization.
While eCampus provides a flexible learning environment geared to meet the needs of adult learners, Dr. Deb Gearhart, eCampus director, attributed the value of the degree programs offered online to TROY’s faculty and staff.
“What makes the eCampus’ programs so successful is not only the affordability of the courses but the dedication to the students by the staff and faculty teaching the program,” said Dr. Gearhart.
