TROY—Wiregrass businesses looking to subcontract on Fort Rucker can discover ways in which they may team with contractors Thursday, Sept. 2 on the Dothan Campus.

MGC Roofing and Construction, Inc., and I.L. Fleming, Inc. will conduct a briefing at 10 a.m. in Sony Hall of the Library/Technology Building to discuss subcontracting needs and requirements.

The briefing will provide potential pre-qualified subcontractors, inclusive of all construction contractors and vendors/suppliers of construction materials, an opportunity to meet MGC’s procurement team. During this session MGC hopes to help interested companies better understand FAR requirements and MGC’s procurement policies as they pertain to maintenance construction work with the company on Fort Rucker, said Judy Callin, a procurement technical assistance consultant with TROY’s Small Business Development Center.

The briefing is co-sponsored by Troy University’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center, the Small Business Development Center and the Center for International Business and Economic Development.
