DOTHAN—Troy University will hold a continuing education course for healthcare professionals and the general public designed to raise awareness about the dangers of melanoma.
The course will be held at the Dothan Campus on Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Participants will learn about the causes and risks factors associated with melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, as well as preventive measures.
Nurses, nursing home administrators and social workers can all earn continuing education credit hours through the course. The class is also open to the public.
