Trojan Dining Facility to open
Sept. 24, 11:30 a.m.: Troy University officials will officially open the new Trojan Dining Facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The ceremony will take place on the University Avenue entrance (near the round-about).
Because of the ceremony and game day, there are numerous road closures for the campus. These closures will be initiated at 8 a.m. University Avenue will be closed from George Wallace Drive to the west side of Alumni Hall (the turn into the Alumni Hall parking lot adjacent to Janice Hawkins Park).
Media should enter campus through the west entrance via University Avenue, turn and come through the Alumni Hall parking lot and turn right onto Luther Drive (this is the road that runs in front of Alumni Hall). Designated parking will be available for the media in the street in front of Alumni Hall. University Police will allow media to pass through the barricades at this location.
Media covering this event are requested to be in place no later than 11 a.m. Please contact Clif Lusk via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or cell at 334-268-9982 to confirm attendance or for more information.
