MONTGOMERY—Grammy-winning country music artist Lee Ann Womack will come to Montgomery for one night only with a concert at Troy University's Davis Theater for the Performing Arts on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m.
Known for her chart-topping smash "I Hope You Dance," singer/songwriter Womack brings a contemporary flair to classic country music. She has won a Grammy, five Academy of Country Music Awards and six Country Music Association awards, and her hit songs include "Last Call," "Solitary Thinkin'," "I Found It in You" and "If These Walls Could Talk." Womack had success with the pop music crossover album "I Hope You Dance," garnering a CMA Song of the Year Award for her number one hit single of the same name.
Opening for Womack will be up-and-coming Nashville country singer Dani Flowers.
Single tickets for the performance are on sale now and range in price from $25 to $50.
