DOTHAN – Troy University, in cooperation with the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, will kick off its NxLeveL for Business Start-ups Planning Series in Dothan on July 29.
The nine-session course is designed for people who want to start a business and need the skills to test the feasibility of their business concept, said Judy Callin, a senior consultant with the University's Small Business Development Center.
During the course, participants will develop a business plan that acts as a blueprint for their start-up venture.
The class will meet each Monday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on the Dothan Campus in Adams Hall room 206. The cost of the course has been discounted to $100, and covers books and materials. Seating is limited to the first 25 paid participants.
