DOTHAN - Troy University students will present findings during the fifth annual Student Research Forum on April 13.

A dozen graduate and undergraduate students majoring in Education Specialist, Criminal Justice/Social Work and History will make their presentations from 2 until 5:30 p.m. in the Harrison Room in the Dothan Campus' Malone Hall.

"It provides students an academically sound but supportive venue to enter the world of professional presentations," said Dr. Marty Oliff, who helps coordinate the research presentations.

On April 17, research will again be presented, focused on the role Alabamians played in World War I.

Nimrod Frazer will provide the John Woodham Memorial Lecture from 12:10 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. in the Harrison Room. Frazer is the author of the first book-length work on the 167th Infantry Regiment since 1919. "Send the Alabamians: WWI Fighters in the Rainbow Division," published by University of Alabama Press, will frame his work.

The lecture series is named in memory of a long-time history professor at then-Troy State University Dothan.
