TROY - The European Association for Sport Management has named its most prestigious award for a Troy University professor, and presented it to him in Dublin, Ireland.
EASM's 23rd annual conference in late September provided the stage for the association to present the Chelladurai Award to Dr. Packianathan Chelladurai for "significant worldwide contributions to the field of sport management through scholarship, research, and leadership."
"The impact that Dr. Chelladurai has had in the field of academic sport management during his career is beyond reproach.
