TROY - The Troy University Department of Theatre and Dance will present Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" starting tonight in the Trojan Center Theatre.
Directed by Quinton Cockrell, assistant professor of Theatre and Dance, this exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of contemporary society. It won the 1953 Tony Award for Best Play.
"The Crucible" will be presented at the Trojan Center Theater October 14-19. Tickets are available online at www.troytheatre.org or at the Trojan Center Box Office Monday-Friday 1-5 p.m. Tickets are $10 general admission and online and $5 for TROY students with ID.
